The Substance of Consciousness

The Substance of Consciousness

A singularly powerful and rigorous argument in favor of modern substance dualism. In The Substance of Consciousness: A Comprehensive Defense of Contemporary Substance Dualism, two distinguished philosophers deliver a unique and powerful defense of contemporary substance dualism, which makes the claim that the human person is an embodied fundamental, immaterial, and unifying substance. Multidisciplinary in scope, the book explores areas Read More ›

Myth and Reality of Israel’s Success

Allysia Finley of the Wall Street Journal does us all a favor in her column, "Our enemies are the CEO’s…Our comrades are in Gaza," describing the labor Union SEIU units that are seeking to portray Israel’s vital and pathfinding  economy as the product capitalism and colonialism. World Serious

Israel at War

I've been to Israel four times. The first visit was a vacation in 2015. While many Americans experience Israel in a group during an extended tour, we traveled alone and booked day guides or specific tours. We started in Jerusalem, spent a day in Masada and the Dead Sea, spent the Sabbath in Tiberias and ended the trip in Tel Aviv. As Israel finds itself at war, I find myself thinking of that first trip to the Holy Land. Read More ›

America at the Crossroads: A Free Republic or a Police State?

It’s not easy for elites in the public and private sector in America—who live in luxury and are removed from majority of the people—to acknowledge their failures and wayward priorities. But that awareness can be driven by the people, who can more easily recognize that acknowledging failure and the need for God are the keys and cornerstone to spiritual revival, which will in turn open the way for America’s recovery and renewal.  Read More ›
