The Latest Discovery Institute’s COSM Technology Summit Returns to Arizona with an AI “Reality Check”

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Discovery Institute proudly announces that its 7th annual COSM Technology Summit, “Reality Check” will be held November 18-20 at the Westin Kierland in Scottsdale, Arizona. COSM 2026 is a premier gathering of scientists, technologists, entrepreneurs, investors, and thought leaders exploring the ideas and innovations shaping the future.
“Today’s generative AI, a repository of accumulated knowledge, acts as a mirror of human created marvels,” said Steve Buri, President of Discovery Institute. “But mirrors are prone to distort reality, so at COSM we gather human minds to assess the true potential of these mathematical marvels with clarity and rigor.”
More than a technology conference, COSM is a forum for big ideas. It will explore the unique role of human intelligence in an increasingly AI-driven world through keynote presentations, panel discussions, fireside chats and networking in the COSM Lounge.
