The Bottom Line A Year of White House Invitations

Recently, Discovery Institute Senior Fellow and American Center for Transforming Education Director, Keri D. Ingraham, returned to the White House.

In recognition of her education work, Ingraham has received a dozen invitations over the past year. The first invitation came in March of 2025 from President Trump to attend the “Improving Education Outcomes by Empowering Parents, States, and Communities” executive order signing ceremony in the East Room of the White House. It was a special day that provided her with the opportunity to speak individually with nine governors and many other state and national leaders.

Following that, Ingraham was invited to the White House for meetings and then for the America 250 Summit in August. In September, she was invited by First Lady Melania Trump to the White House AI Education Task Force Meeting.

Next came a series of White House education roundtables hosted by U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon that Ingraham was asked to attend.

During National School Choice Week in January, Ingraham was invited to the White House for a school choice roundtable. While there, she was selected to contribute to a White House video. President Trump retweeted the video of Ingraham, which trended as the top post on his page for 3 days and received nearly half a million views.

In March, President Trump invited Ingraham to the White House St. Patrick’s Day celebration, where she spoke with members of the Cabinet and other key leaders of the Administration about her work at Discovery Institute’s American Center for Transforming Education. The following week, First Lady Melania Trump invited her to the Fostering the Future Together Global Coalition Summit with leaders from 45 nations.

Regarding these invitations to the White House, as well as others, Ingraham shared that she is grateful for the deeply meaningful opportunities to contribute and that each recognition of her work from the President, First Lady, and their team has been an honor of a lifetime.
