Since the money is tied to the child, not the school, there are no threats of government regulation on the school the child may attend.

The reality, Dr. Ingraham argues, is that many families across the nation simply cannot afford the tuition of private schools or the luxury of homeschool. Vouchers and savings accounts are the best way to get money back into the hands of parents so that they are free and empowered to make their own choice rather than being trapped in a failing public school.
