Discovering How Science Points to God

A lecture by Dr. Stephen Meyer hosted by Park Cities Presbyterian Church

Our friends at Park Cities Presbyterian Church are hosting a science and faith discussion in Dallas, TX with Stephen Meyer, Director of the Center for Science & Culture at Discovery Institute and author of Return of the God Hypothesis: Three Scientific Discoveries That Reveal the Mind Behind the Universe.

Here’s a message from the organizers:

As Christians, we have the privilege of applying our faith in the context of the challenging world we live in. But we often struggle with knowing how to do that. As Christians, we must be shaped by God’s Word as we seek to fulfill the Great Commission in the context of a lost world. We are excited to announce that over the next year, we will be offering four Faith & Culture events that will help equip you to be lights in an ever-confusing culture.

Our culture tells us that scientific evidence and faith in God are at odds, and this assumption can often cause doubt in our own hearts or anxiety over sharing our faith with others. During this special evening lecture, philosopher of science Dr. Stephen Meyer will encourage us with a series of revolutionary scientific discoveries in astronomy, physics, and biology that point to the reality of God.
