Information as the Foundation of Business and Biology

A lecture by Dr. William Dembski hosted by the Association for Business Technology Professionals

The Association for Business Technology Professionals invites you to join their upcoming chapter meeting in Dallas, TX to hear from William Dembski, Distinguished Fellow of the Walter Bradley Center for Natural and Artificial Intelligence at Discovery Institute.

Here’s a message from the organizers:

Information is foundational to both business and biology. In business, information characterizes everything from prices to intellectual property to lead generation to cryptocurrencies. In biology, information characterizes every level of biological organization and complexity. This wide-ranging talk explores the concept of information in general terms but focuses especially on how information applies to business and biology. The crucial takeaway of this talk will be that the ultimate source behind information is intelligence. In business, the intelligent source is human. In biology, the intelligent source is superhuman.

William A. “Bill” Dembski is an entrepreneur who currently builds educational technologies. For three decades he has also been a key contributor to the field of intelligent design.
