William Dembski to Present the Case for Intelligent Design at UT Dallas
Senior Fellow and long-time design theorist Dr. William Dembski will be speaking at the University of Texas at Dallas on his soon-to-be-published 2nd edition of The Design Inference. His talk is titled Intelligence Metrics: Measuring the Degree of Intelligence in Design, and the event will be hosted by the local Reasonable Faith chapter.
“Intelligence comes in degrees,” says Dembski. “Sometimes we simply want to know whether an intelligence has acted. But we may also want to know the degree of intelligence that has acted. In this talk, I explore various possible metrics for measuring the degree of intelligence in designing agents and in designed systems. I then focus on a preferred information-based intelligence metric.”
If you are in the Dallas area, we encourage you to stop by UTD to show your support and to hear an exciting update on Dembski’s latest research.
