Real Welfare Reform

Throughout the debate over welfare reform, religious leaders have expressed sharply different visions of what our nation’s welfare policies should look like in the years ahead.

Discovery Institute is interested in exploring the theological roots of these different visions of welfare.

We invite you to join us for a breakfast roundtable forum featuring three nationally recognized religious thinkers, Dr. Marvin Olasky, Fr. Robert Sirico, and Rabbi Daniel Lapin.

The purpose of this event is to examine current welfare reform and the role of religious organizations in that reform, as well as exploring the theological issues underlying the debate in the religious community over welfare reform.
