Joel Kramer

Joel Kramer holds an MA in Biblical Archaeology from the University of the Holy Land and a BA from the University of Arizona. He has lived in Jerusalem and Amman for nearly two decades, gaining extensive experience on archaeological projects, including excavations Bethlehem, Ai, Zoar, and also Jerusalem, where he served as a supervisor. Joel leads archaeological study tours, writes, films, and teaches as a research professor of Biblical Archaeology at Shepherds Seminary. In his book, Where God Came Down: The Archaeological Evidence, Joel uses his expertise in archaeology to address the historical accuracy of ten important Biblical sites. He also produces on-site archaeology videos for his YouTube channel Expedition Bible, which provides coverage at numerous archaeological sites with insightful research about important topics and locations in Biblical archaeology.
