The Mideast Menace: Israel’s Multi-Front Existential Challenge

Please join us on Thursday, June 15 for an immersive discussion with John Wohlstetter on the current geopolitical situation vis-à-vis Israel and the Middle East. Wohlstetter is an expert on matters of foreign policy and national security and is author of the books Sleepwalking with the Bomb and The Long War Ahead and the Short War Upon Us.

Wohlstetter will provide a background of the key developments between Israel and its neighbors over the last twenty years and explain where the conflict stands now. Between terror groups like Hezbollah and Hamas, the Palestinian Authority, and emboldened Iran, Israel faces challenges on multiple fronts.

How did we get here? What are Israel’s options? What role does the United States and other great powers have to play in the region? You’ll hear the answers to these questions and more at this illuminating event. The event begins at 5 PM with a reception with light refreshments prior to the program, which will start at 5:30.
