God’s Sovereign Plan Through His Creation

with Dr. Stephen Meyer

Stephen Meyer is coming to Southern California to discuss faith-based questions, such as:

  • How do we as believers position ourselves in the truth during these changing times?
  • Why does understanding science and religion matter in our culture today?

If these types of questions interest you, see more details below from the event organizers:

It’s often assumed that if a person takes science seriously, then religion is not taken seriously. How do we as believers position ourselves in what is the Truth in these changing times? Why should understanding religion and science matter in our worldview and culture today?

Dr. Stephen Meyer — a former geophysicist and college professor — will be speaking at Church of Southland from January 20-22. He will discuss a series of revolutionary scientific discoveries that point to the reality of God, demonstrating how discoveries in astronomy, physics, and biology help establish the identity of our Intelligent Designer who is responsible for life and why all of this matters to us today. This would be a great event to invite those in your life who may have questions about faith or you’re praying about asking to join Alpha! Childcare will be provided for 3.5 yo (and potty-trained) through 8th grade. We encourage parents of high school students to have your children join.
