Vern S. Poythress is Distinguished Professor of New Testament, Biblical Interpretation, and Systematic Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, where he has taught for forty-seven years. He has six earned degrees, including a PhD in mathematics from Harvard University and a ThD in New Testament from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. He is author of numerous books, including Redeeming Science; Logic; Chance and the Sovereignty of God; Redeeming Mathematics; Redeeming PhilosophyThe Lordship of Christ; and Interpreting Eden.
