David Swift

David Swift holds a BA (Cantab.) in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, where his main subject was pharmacology, and an MSc from the University of Birmingham in water resources technology. At Cambridge, he first began to doubt the efficacy of evolutionary mechanisms to produce the complexities of life. This interest lead to his book Evolution Under the Microscope: A Scientific Critique of the Theory of Evolution (2002). His career has included teaching environmental science at the UK’s Open University and work as a research scientist in the water industry.
