There are many ways to support the work of the Center for Science and Culture (CSC). Becoming a donor at any level makes you a part of our ever-growing educational network and can provide you with benefits throughout the year. As a private research and education institute, Discovery Institute is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

To make a donation by mail, send your check payable to Discovery Institute at: Center for Science & Culture, 208 Columbia Street, Seattle, WA 98104. You can specify one of the special projects below, or give to the overall work of the CSC.

To make a gift by phone, or to donate stock or other real property, call 1-800-685-0632 x126.

(less than $300 per year)

Donors at all levels are a valuable part of our educational outreach and support network. They spread the word about our work by educating themselves and then sharing with their friends and family.

Benefits of being a Contributor

In addition to premiums offered to donors of $100 or more, all donors to the Center for Science(CSC)  receive:

  • Invitations to regional events sponsored by the CSC throughout the year.
  • A subscription to Nota Bene, the Center’s regular e-newsletter covering news, upcoming events, new books, and more.

Join NowDiscovery Society
($300 or more per year)

The Discovery Society is a group of individuals who come together to support the work – and disseminate the message – of Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Culture. New members receive four of our most popular DVDs (Icons of Evolution, The Privileged Planet, Unlocking the Mystery of Life, and Darwin’s Dilemma) along with other materials that help spread the word about our work. 

Benefits of being a Society Member

In addition to the Contributor benefits, Society members receive:

  • An exclusive invitation to our annual Insiders Briefing, a private meeting with leading intelligent design scientists, scholars, and supporters to learn about the current state of the debate, preview upcoming events and initiatives, and hear about the latest research.
  • A subscription to the CSC Insider, a quarterly print newsletter for Society members covering the latest developments in the intelligent design debate, upcoming books and events, and recent activities by leading Discovery Institute Fellows.
  • Yearly complimentary copy of one key book or DVD – as it becomes available.

Join Now Director’s Circle
($1,500 per year)

The Director’s Circle is a group of individuals who are committed to support the CSC with a donation of $1,500 or more per year. These individuals are seen as key regional contacts and are often called upon to help with strategic planning for regional events. 

Benefits of being a Director’s Circle member

In addition to the Society member benefits, donors at this level receive:

  • Invitation to complimentary private luncheon prior to the Insiders Briefing, which allows for small group interaction with fellows and staff of the CSC.
  • Register one, get second person for ½ off on registration for the Insiders Briefing.
  • Invitation to regional VIP events, such as dinners/luncheons before regional events featuring CSC Fellows.
  • Free materials to help educate friends and family about the work of the CSC, such as The Educators Briefing Packet, promotional copies of CSC videos, etc.
  • Complimentary copies of selected new books or DVDs – as they become available throughout the year.

Join Now President’s Circle
($5,000 per year and above)

The President’s Circle is a group of individuals who are committed to support the CSC with a donation of $5,000 or more per year. Like the Director’s Circle members, these individuals are seen as key regional contacts and are of called upon to help with strategic planning for regional events. 

Benefits of being a President’s Circle member

In addition to the benefits afforded those in the Discovery Society and Director’s Circle levels, donors at this level receive:

  • Special seating at regional VIP events, such as dinners/luncheons before regional events featuring CSC Fellows.
  • Two for one registration for the Insiders Briefing.
  • In-depth Annual Report detailing the goals and accomplishments of the CSC.
  • Complimentary copies of key new books (signed by author) and DVDs – as they become available throughout the year.
