Does Lots of Sediment in the Ocean Solve the “Mystery” of the Cambrian Explosion?

Though the cause of the Cambrian explosion has so far remained elusive, a Nature paper, highlighted by Science Daily, is purporting that increased chemical sedimentation allowed animals to build hard parts, which could leave fossils.
