Ingraham brings more than two decades of experience in education to the Commission. Before joining Discovery Institute, she served as a school leader, administrator, classroom teacher, athletic coach, and national education consultant. Today, through her leadership of the American Center for Transforming Education, she works nationally to advance education freedom, innovation, parental empowerment, and education models that better prepare students to live, work, and thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ingraham\u2019s appointment comes amid her increasing engagement with national and state leaders on education policy. The President and First Lady have invited her to the White House multiple times, where she has attended education roundtables, a task force meeting, a signing ceremony, and special celebrations. Dr. Ingraham has engaged with several Cabinet members, governors, members of Congress, and other policymakers on efforts to transform American education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
