A recent talk by Senior Fellow Jay Richards at Impact 360 outlines ten steps that must be taken to make a big impact on poverty. Says Richards:

Poverty and poverty alleviation and wealth creation are not unknowns. We know the answers to these questions. They’re tough, but we actually know what it is that causes cultures to prosper and what it is that prevents cultures from prospering.

These steps aren’t easy, and what works practically doesn’t always immediately appeal to our moral intuitions–but getting serious about ending poverty requires us to think beyond charity to more sustainable solutions. Watch below to hear Dr. Richards explain how:
