How Science Points Us To God

An Informative Evening with Dr. Stephen Meyer

Discovery Institute president Steve Buri and Dan and Cindi Mader are delighted to invite you to an event benefiting Discovery Institute and featuring Dr. Stephen Meyer, Director of the organization’s Center for Science and Culture.

Dr. Meyer will discuss the intersection of science and faith, as presented in his best-selling book, Return of the God Hypothesis. While media and academy elites promote the myth that science and faith are in conflict — often trading faith in science for faith in God — Dr. Meyer will discuss a series of revolutionary scientific discoveries that show how science supports a designed and purposeful universe. Known for his innovative work on the evidence for intelligent design in biology, Dr. Meyer will demonstrate how discoveries in astronomy and physics, as well as in biology, help to establish the identity of the ‘intelligent designer’ responsible for life.

The in-person event is free and open to the public, though donations will be solicited. Special VIP tickets are available for those who wish to attend a private reception with food and a hosted bar, as well as a book-signing with the author. The VIP reception with Stephen Meyer will run from 4:30 to 5:30 PM, and will be followed by a cocktail hour and silent auction with live music from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. The program will begin at 6:30 PM and conclude at 8:00 PM.

Built over 100 years ago, historic Mader Barn is situated right in the heart of the scenic Palouse Country in Genesee, Idaho. If you or someone you know are located in Eastern Washington or Northern Idaho and are interested in learning about the scientific case for the existence of God, this is an exciting opportunity that you won’t want to miss.
