Science & Human Origins
Featuring Dr. Ann Gauger, Director of Science Communication and a Senior Fellow at the Discovery Institute's CSCAnn earned her Ph.D. from MIT and the University of Washington, and completed postdoctoral work at Harvard University. She has completed research on the molecular motor kinesin, the limits of protein evolution, and the evidence for uniqueness of human origins. Her talk will discuss several cultural myths about our origins, how long it would take to evolve the genetic differences between humans and apes, and concludes that science, in fact, points to our exceptional origins.
Ann will be joining the Houston Chapter of the Science & Culture Network virtually from Seattle, and you can participate in her talk and ask questions at TWO locations:
Faith Bible Church
5505 Research Forest Drive
The Woodlands, TX 77381
