Charles Ganske is an editor of Russia Blog, and a fellow for the Real Russia Project. After working for free market think tanks in Austin and Washington D.C., Mr. Ganske began editing Russia Blog in June 2005. The Real Russia Project's first fellow has written extensively about Russia's energy and financial markets, demographics, as well as Russian films and popular culture. Mr. Ganske's commentary has appeared in The Washington Times, Korea Herald, Vancouver Province, Puget Sound Business Journal, Real Clear Politics, World Politics Review, Russia Profile, and Yahoo! News. His writing and reporting have contributed to the success of Russia Blog, which has increased readership from 25 visits a day in 2005 to 3,000,000 annual visits in 2007. Mr. Ganske holds a Bachelor's degree in Plan II Liberal Arts Honors and History from the University of Texas at Austin.
