Anton Verstakov, a Russia-based entrepreneur and a documentary producer, is the founder of AVProductions, a documentary film company. The company's films about Russia can be seen on a variety of Russian, Western, and Middle Eastern news channels (including NTV, RTR, Russia Today, MSNBC, and Al Jazeera). Earlier in his career, Mr. Verstakov was a broadcast journalist, and worked as a reporter and producer at some of Russia's most respected TV channels, including RTR "Rossija." He also was the news editor at the English language 24/7 News channel Russia Today. Mr. Verstakov has a degree in Media and Communications from the Moscow State University, where he is now pursuing a PhD in journalism.
