James J. Na is a Senior Fellow in foreign policy at Discovery Institute in Washington, D.C. and is a recurring guest columnist at the
Seattle Times. His commentary and writings have also appeared in the
Asian Wall Street Journal,

RealClearPolitics and the
Seattle Post-Intelligencer in addition to a number of academic journals.
He studied international relations and economics at Brown University and holds a master's degree from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh where he conducted research on information warfare, transnational organized crime, regional conflicts, military doctrine, strategic industries and East Asian affairs.
He discusses Asia-related security, politics, economics, social and cultural issues in his blog
