The West Coast Corridor “Clean, Green and Smart” research project is led by Caltrans, the Transportation Sustainability Research Center at the University of California, Berkeley, and the Cascadia Center, with primary funding from the FHWA Multi-State Corridor Operations and Management (MCOM) program. The goal of the Clean, Green and Smart Corridor Development project is to create a stronger understanding of the goods movement alternative fueling infrastructure along the West Coast Corridor, including current and planned facilities and the opportunities and challenges for expanding facilities. A key aspect of the project is an exploration of business models that include public and private collaboration.
