The Pensmore Dialogue on Science & Faith

April 4, 2014 - April 5, 2014
Return of the God Hypothesis

Senior Fellow and Program Director of Discovery Institute's Center for Science & Culture Stephen Meyer will join Jay Richards, John Lennox, Ftr. Robert Spitzer and other noted scholars at the Pensmore Dialogue on Science & Faith at Patrick Henry College in April.

This "who's who" of distinguished Christian scholars will examine ancient questions about the origins of life and the unfathomable complexity of the universe; whether evolution and natural selection are plausible explanations for the world we live in; whether life could exist without some intelligence having designed it; and is there meaning and purpose to our lives?

Presentations include:

  • Science and Design - What Are the Issues?

  • Why Science Matters to People of Faith

  • Has Science Buried God?

  • The Return of the God Hypothesis

  • Is God Necessary to Explain Life and the Universe?

  • The Privileged Planet

  • Signature in the Cell

Join the intellectually and spiritually curious as these and other issues are explored through the lenses of timeless philosophies, Judeo-Christian revelation, and scientific discoveries.

WHEN: Friday-Saturday, April 4-5, 2014
WHERE: Patrick Henry College, Purcellville, VA - 45 minutes from Washington, D.C.
