George Gilder at Bush Library
Conversation and Coffee
Leading author and economist George Gilder "known in the 1980s as a supply-side prophet and in the 1990s as a technology futurist "has recently married the two fields in a groundbreaking new book, Knowledge and Power, hailed by Rich Karlgaard of Forbes Magazine as the “book of the year, maybe of the new millennium.” In it, Gilder shows how "left to its own devices" an entrepreneurial economy will rescue itself and usher in a new era of American prosperity. The key is applying the insights of information theory to modern economics.
The program will start at 3:30 PM with audience Q&A and a book signing to follow. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
