The Devil's Delusion U.S. Book Tour with David Berlinski


In April, Dr. David Berlinski will tour the United States speaking about his new book The Devil's Delusion.

Militant atheism is on the rise. Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Daniel Dennett, and Christopher Hitchens have dominated best seller lists with books denigrating religious belief as dangerous foolishness. And these authors are merely the leading edge of a far larger movement - one that now includes much of the scientific community.

"If science stands opposed to religion, it is not because of anything contained in either the premises or the conclusions of the great scientific theories," Berlinski writes in The Devil's Delusion. "Confident assertions by scientists that… they have demonstrated that God does not exist have nothing to do with science, and even less to do with God's existence."

A secular Jew and agnostic, Berlinski nonetheless delivers a biting defense of religious thought. An acclaimed author who has spent his career writing about mathematics and the sciences, he turns the scientific community's cherished skepticism back on itself, daring to ask and answer some rather embarrassing questions.

Dr. David Berlinski will be at Biola University to talk about The Devil's Delusion at 7:30pm in Calvary Chapel. Cost is $10 general admission, and free for students with student identification.

Join Dr. Berlinski for a book presentation at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, at Nicholson Hall, Room 275, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. This event is sponsored by Mars Hill Students. This event is free and open to the public.

April 21st
Join Dr. Berlinski for a book presentation at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary at 7pm in Riley Center, 1701 W. Boyce Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76115.

April 22nd
Join Dr. Berlinski for a book presentation at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22nd, in Lynch Auditorium at University of Dallas, 1845 East Northgate Dr. Irving, Tx. This event is free and open to the public.

April 24th
Dr. Berlinski has had to cancel his appearance at University of San Francisco.
