We are at a moment in America when the free enterprise system is under severe moral challenge -- perhaps as never before. Rising to this challenge is Discovery Institute’s new Center on Wealth, Poverty and Morality, directed by Senior Fellow Jay Richards, author of the award-winning book, Money, Greed and God. The mission of the Center is to connect the practical truths of economics with the perennial truths of ethics. The Center draws its name, in part, from the best-selling book, Wealth and Poverty, written by Senior Fellow and Discovery Institute Co-Founder George Gilder. Both scholars are recognized nationally as ardent defenders of free enterprise and wealth creation. They are joined in this new program by Senior Fellow Michael Medved, and other Discovery Institute scholars and staff.

Join us at a special reception Tuesday, March 13th as we celebrate the launch of this crucial new program, and the release of Jay Richards’ latest book, Indivisible: Restoring Faith, Family and Freedom Before It’s Too Late. The event will feature an introduction to the new program, a discussion of Indivisible by Dr. Richards and a brief address by George Gilder. Cost to attend is $15 for adults and $5 for students (ID required at door) and includes wine, beer, heavy hors d'oeuvres and other beverages!

The event will be held at the Rainier Square Conference Center in downtown Seattle (1301 Fifth Avenue). Check-in and the reception will open at 6 PM, with the program beginning at 6:30. Don’t miss this entertaining and informative evening!
