Unstoppable Global Warming: Every 1,500 Years

Featuring Dennis Avery, Hudson Institute Senior Fellow
Past Event December 5, 2006
Discovery Institute is pleased to welcome Dennis T. Avery, co-author of Unstoppable Global Warming: Every 1,500 Years, to Seattle as he speaks about his new book Tuesday, December 5th. Mr. Avery, a Senior Fellow at Hudson Institute and an award-winning economist, and co-author S. Fred Singer, an internationally renowned climate physicist, compile peer-reviewed data from scientists all over the world to dispel the widespread notion that global warming is caused by, and can be controlled by, human beings.

Unstoppable Global Warming: Every 1,500 Years is filled with wit, style and scholarship. It presents surprising statistics that meticulously dissect the claims of well-funded environmental groups and uncovers little-known facts about global warming. In his discussion of the book, Mr. Avery will share how global warming might not be such a bad thing after all.
