The Next Middle East Wars
Featuring Senior Fellow John Wohlstetter
June 16, 2011

Despite some hopeful signs from the “Arab Spring,” the Middle East is, if anything, in graver danger than before. So what does this mean for U.S. foreign policy in the region? And how should the U.S. counter totalitarian and terror threats?

Join Senior Fellow John Wohlstetter, author of The Long War Ahead and the Short War Upon Us, for a brown bag luncheon and informative roundtable discussion of these questions. Mr. Wohlstetter has participated in more than 600 radio and television interviews, including multiple appearances on the radio programs of Michael Medved and Dennis Miller. He is currently working on a second book that examines these issues in light of recent Middle East developments.

The event will be held at Discovery Institute, located at 208 Columbia Street in downtown Seattle on Thursday, June 16, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Though we cannot validate, parking is available in the Millennium Tower Garage (719 2nd Avenue - entrance on Columbia). Our location is also metro accessible.

To RSVP, please use this RSVP Form, or you can contact Alex Lykken at (206) 292-0401 ext. 102 or email him at

Suggested donation is $10. An assortment of sandwiches, chips and drinks will be provided.
