Most experts agree that Iran is closing in on the ability to build nuclear weapons. Just this week, in fact, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev stated that "Iran is nearing… the potential which in principle could be used for the creation of a nuclear weapon." So what does this mean for U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East? And what, if anything, has the Obama Administration done to avert a nuclear crisis? Join us on Tuesday, July 27, for an interesting and timely discussion on the threats posed by a nuclear-armed Iran with Senior Fellow John Wohlstetter.
Mr. Wohlstetter is Senior Fellow of Discovery Institute and author of ,The Long War Ahead and the Short War Upon Us, a book that provides an assessment of the successes and failures of the United States' War on Terror, six years after 9/11. A second book, on the subject of this lecture, is in the works. Mr. Wohlstetter also authors a Discovery Institute blog, Letter From the Capitol, which covers a broad range of topics with a particular focus on technology and national security issues.
