The UK Elections - What Does It Mean to the United States
A Lunchtime Discussion with Discovery Institute President Bruce Chapman
Discovery Institute president Bruce Chapman will lead a lunchtime discussion on
Friday,
May 7, on the outcome of Thursday's parliamentary elections in Britain. The careworn government of British Prime Minister Brown and his Labour Party called for an election to form a new government this week. With the election result freshly in, we invite you to a lively discussion on the likely new British government and what it means to the U.S., world economy and politics.
The event will be held at Discovery Institute, located at
208 Columbia Street in
downtown Seattle, on
Friday,
May 7, from
12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Though we cannot validate, parking is available in the Millennium Tower Garage (719 2nd Avenue - entrance on Columbia). Our location is also metro accessible.
