"Performance Driven: A New Vision for U.S. Transportation Policy"
On August 27, the Washington, D.C.-based Bipartisan Policy Center will host a panel discussion in Seattle of "Performance Driven: A New Vision for U.S. Transportation Policy."
"Performance Driven" is a landmark bipartisan transportation report that calls for a dramatic shift in U.S. transportation policy. The report was released by the Bipartisan Policy Center's National Transportation Policy Project in June. The Bipartisan Policy Center was founded in 2007 by a group of former U.S. Senate Majority Leaders--Howard Baker, Tom Daschle, Bob Dole and George Mitchell.

-Dan O’Neal, Commissioner, Washington State Transportation Commission
-Doug MacDonald, former Secretary, Washington State Department of Transportation

-Steve Marshall, Senior Fellow, Cascadia Center for Regional Development
-Charlie Howard, Director of Transportation Planning, Puget Sound Regional Council
