Has science disproved God? Or do new scientific discoveries actually provide compelling support for faith? More than half of teens in youth groups plan to pursue careers related to science or technology. Yet surveys show that nearly a third of Christian young people think "churches are out of step with the scientific word we live in," and a quarter of them believe "Christianity is anti-science." These views are likely reinforced when they attend college, where 61% of biologists identify themselves as atheists or agnostics according to a recent survey.

ADDED BONUS: Churches who sign-up to host this simulcast by March 30, 2014 can submit three questions for the speakers to consider answering during the question and answer part of the event.

By becoming a host for this worldwide simulcast event, your church or Christian school can address questions about faith and science in a positive, constructive manner with engaging, world-class speakers. The simulcast will feature renowned Oxford University Professor John Lennox and New York Times-bestselling author Stephen Meyer, two of today’s leading speakers and writers on the intersection between science and faith. The simulcast will be emceed by bestselling author Eric Metaxas, whose speaking style has been described as "a combination of edgy wit, charm, inspiration, evangelization, [and] thoughtfulness" and who is in high demand on college campuses.

Questions to be addressed during the simulcast include:

To maximize the impact of this simulcast, churches will be able to purchase resource packs of books, videos, and curricula for those who want to continue to explore the issues raised. Free digital documents that can be printed and distributed to attendees will also be provided.

This simulcast will be of interest to everyone, but it will be especially helpful for parents and their middle school, high school, and college-age kids. Churches with significant high school and/or college ministries will also find this event particularly valuable. There are many ways a church or Christian school or even a homeschool co-op could use this event effectively: As an all-church seminar; as part of an adult education series on science and faith; as a back-to-school event for parents and youth; and as a special youth group event.
